Hawai’i does hot sauce a little different out here. Chili Pepper Water is the standard. A simple mix of water, vinegar, salt, garlic, and the fiery red Hawaiian chili pepper that the islands are known for. We were blessed with having a version of a secret family recipe shared with us with some HI Spice embellishments added. It is ann aggressive mix of sweet, savory, and spicy!!
